Customer Advisory: Hurricane Irene
The first Atlantic hurricane of 2011 is heading towards the East Coast of the United States this weekend.
SEKO Logistics is closely monitoring the path of Hurricane Irene and contingency plans are in place to ensure the safety and well-being of our team members, facilities and freight to minimize the storm’s effect on service. The preparation and results of this storm will cause pickup and delivery delays and disruption. Certain delays should be expected along the East Coast as airports and ocean ports are closing due to the storms approach.
The extent of any potential service impact will not be known until the hurricane passes along the East Coast, but SEKO Logistics will be prepared to provide service to the best of our ability in areas affected by the storm and as local conditions allow.
